Touriks · Castle entrance, bridge side
Seventy-five minutes with a live guide: fifteen minutes on the bridge with the angels, then an hour inside the castle up to the terrace. You can book it shared or all for yourself, and it is the right choice if you want the timing and questions of your own group.

The meeting point is in front of the castle entrance, on the bridge side. Look for a staff member with a yellow sign that says Touriks. The voucher is not the ticket: the guide gives you the ticket at the meeting point. It starts outside, with about 15 minutes on Ponte Sant'Angelo and its statues, then one hour inside.
Inside, according to the listing, you go from Hadrian's tomb to the corridors and papal rooms, with Paolo III's Loggia, the grotesques and the trompe-l'œil paintings, up to the terrace at the top. The guide also shows you the Passetto di Borgo, the passage towards the Vatican Palaces. Walking on it is not included: the listing states this clearly. According to the listing, the headsets are sterilised.
The price starts from $100 per person (GetYourGuide, October 2026), with free cancellation up to 24 hours before. The reserved ticket is included; the listing still shows the ticket price in force before 1 July 2026: the text predates the change, and the ticket is still included in the tour price. For reference, from 1 July 2026 the official full ticket costs €18, the reduced ticket €2 (EU citizens aged 18 to 25) and under 18s enter free. According to reviews, there are tours in German too, and very small groups, even of three people. The listing says the tour is partly wheelchair accessible, and if bad weather cancels it, they offer another date or a full refund.
In front of the entrance, on the bridge side, look for the Touriks staff with the yellow sign. There you receive the ticket and headsets.
The tour starts outside: the bridge, the angel statues and the castle seen from the front.
The Roman core of the mausoleum and its transformation into the popes' fortress.
The papal corridors, the Loggia of Paolo III, the grotesques and the trompe-l'oeil paintings. The guide points out the Passetto.
It ends at the top, with one of the most beautiful views of Rome. Then you can stay in the castle as long as you like.
★★★★★I recommend everyone visit Castel Sant'Angelo the way we did. Federica was a very good, engaging and knowledgeable guide. She told us the stories, episodes and characters that over the centuries have marked and inhabited this majestic and mysterious place. Thank you, Federica!
★★★★★It was a truly private tour, conducted in good German by our guide Anesterio. Really very interesting and informative.
★★★★★There were only three of us, which was wonderful and very intimate.
★★★★★Rossi is an extraordinary guide. She is passionate about history and knows Castel Sant'Angelo like the back of her hand. Thank you, Rossi!

No. The guide will point it out and tell you its history, but access to the Passetto is not included. To walk through it, you need a dedicated tour, such as the Passetto di Borgo with a guide.
The voucher is not the entry ticket. The reserved ticket is given to you by the guide at the meeting point, in front of the entrance on the bridge side.
About 75 minutes: 15 on the bridge and one hour inside the castle. After the terrace, you can stay inside on your own.
